When I heard the "claim" against BYU, my first reaction was it could be another "woke" false claim and I was right. Unfortunately some are looking for racism everywhere when it's not there. Be nice if the SC coach would issue an apology and keep BYU series, but I have a feeling she was looking for a reason to cancel since we all know BYU is a white blond haired blue eyed school that is racist. TicToo many racist incidents by their administration to allow to remain open. Backing a racist volleyball player is the last straw.
What a shame its always racist though it isn’t.When I heard the "claim" against BYU, my first reaction was it could be another "woke" false claim and I was right. Agree. I just hope SC and Duke would issue an apology to BYU.If it is true that the Duke athlete lied about the slurs, just like when some women falsely claim sexual assault, it makes it harder for the real victims to be heard.
What did Biden say now?You all have been told some “Fantastic Lies”
Haha, I’m referring to the Duke lacrosse team doc that is titled Fantastic Lies. I believe it’s a 30 for 30 filmWhat did Biden say now?
Yeah that’s not going to happen. Color me shocked that an internal investigation didn’t find anything. I bet they looked real hard too…Agree. I just hope SC and Duke would issue an apology to BYU.
BYU interviewed over 50 people in attendance and went over video and cell phones and found no evidence. They also said that their report is not the end all and any person or media organization is free to submit evidence.Yeah that’s not going to happen. Color me shocked that an internal investigation didn’t find anything. I bet they looked real hard too…
LDS isn’t exactly known for being the most “inclusive” organization, shall we say.
Some might say it’s homophobic that you said Jussie Smollet beat off his attackers.BYU interviewed over 50 people in attendance and went over video and cell phones and found no evidence. They also said that their report is not the end all and any person or media organization is free to submit evidence.
The accuser stated that it was multiple times. I think they said throughout the contest. I am certain that Duke filmed the matches and parents had cell phone videos so if what she said happened this should be easy.
Sometimes the story sounds so perfect for the narrative that we want it to be true. Just like a guy worth millions could get jumped at 2 am by the only two Trump voters in Chicago on the coldest night of the year. Oh and beat them off and STILL have his sandwich. Thank god the local media called BS on that one.

The post stating that LDS people aren't inclusive sounds very racist to me.90% of these “racist” incidents turn out to be made up BS. But guilt ridden white libs fall all over themselves hoping the situation turns out to be true that they won’t even wait for the facts.
i had heard about the extensive review of audio which one would think would have identified this activity.Attached is an article that said both sides interviewed

Intensive BYU investigation finds no evidence of racist slur beyond Duke player’s statement
BYU drops ban on fan, says investigators scrutinized video and audio and reached out to 50 eyewitnesses, including Duke players and athletic department personnelwww.deseret.com
Seems like they did right. I just rarely trust internal investigations when they find absolutely nothing wrong.BYU interviewed over 50 people in attendance and went over video and cell phones and found no evidence. They also said that their report is not the end all and any person or media organization is free to submit evidence.

Agree but hate to say it but some look to be offended. If it was true I’d support SC decision but what is disappointing is they made their decision based on a second hand accountSeems like they did right. I just rarely trust internal investigations when they find absolutely nothing wrong.
Why would the Duke player just make something like this up? Too bad if true, and she should be dismissed from the team (again, if true).
You pulled that 90% number right out of your butt. Didn’t you? That is racist and insensitive to say that.90% of these “racist” incidents turn out to be made up BS. But guilt ridden white libs fall all over themselves hoping the situation turns out to be true that they won’t even wait for the facts.
They also pulled all broadcast audio from the recording so all you heard was the gym. She also claimed it happened every serve. So there should multiple recordings.BYU interviewed over 50 people in attendance and went over video and cell phones and found no evidence. She should be expelled from a Duke university. Society has no room for a person like this. They also pulled all broadcast audio from the recording so all you heard was the gym. She also claimed it happened every serve. So there should multiple recordings.
But that doesn’t matter if you can a shot in on your political enemies.
oh, there's a place for them... at the top of the DNC food chain. She should be expelled from a Duke university. Society has no room for a person like this.
Joetboiker yard sign needs to be updated. He’s already he’s to cross out Duke lacrosse, Jussie Smollett, NASCAR garage noose and now BYU volleyball.Attached is an article that said both sides interviewed

Racist and insensitive? Sometimes the truth hurts. You pulled that 90% number right out of your butt. Didn’t you? That is racist and insensitive to say that.
I think most on this board condemns racism when it exists. The problem is too many of these events are created trying to say racism is rampant. I would never claim to know what you have experienced but at the same time there’s a racism hustle business being perpetrated by the Al Sharpies and BLM’s of the worldYou guys start a thread about a girl that may have lied about someone yelling a racist slur. The evidence is surely leading that way. Then there are several condemning comments about this topic. However, when I bring up several instances of real and verifiable racism, this board is so quiet that you can hear a mouse piss on cotton. Then sometimes there are several folks on here that defend or deny that it is happening. Why is that?
Why are Democrats quiet when people bring up real and verifiably racist things that Biden has said? Democrats had no issue voting for a racist. Why is that? Party over hate? You guys start a thread about a girl that may have lied about someone yelling a racist slur. The evidence is surely leading that way. I beg to differ. I don’t know how long you been a member of this forum but other than me, who else has ever started a thread on any racial instances? However, the 3 or so times there have been false claims of racism threads like this one is started.I think most on this board condemns racism when it exists. What voting suppression laws are you referring to? Voter ID which a majority of blacks support?I beg to differ. Thanks to racists Lee Atwater and others like him, racism after the 60s became more subtle. He trained the racist Dixiecrats that they can’t say the n-word and use code words. Instead of Chump and his dad outright telling blacks that they can’t live in their rented properties. They would put the letter “C” on the black applications. Still today, blacks selling their homes are getting grossly undervalued appraisals compared to their white counterparts in the exact same neighborhoods. As a white person, you and others most likely don’t hear, let alone talk about these things amongst your circles. Then there are the voting suppression laws in red states. It is plain as day to blacks what is going on. There are still racism when it comes to bank loans. Police brutality is still an issue. You have “Karens” running around calling police on blacks minding their own business. Why would you want to call the police on a 9 year old black girl and mom selling water in the sidewalk to raise money for Disneyworld?
To white folks, racism may not be appear to be rampant. Ask people of color and they will say otherwise because they see or hear about it daily.
For you to label Bone as racist because you doubt his "facts" seems to be a racist act on your partYou pulled that 90% number right out of your butt. Didn’t you? That is racist and insensitive to say that.
You guys don’t understand. Voter ID requirement in of itself is not the issue. It is the timing of when the voter ID laws started to come into play. The repub strategists in 2009 saw that a lot of blacks obviously voted for Obama. They also realized that a lot these blacks voted in the major cities did not have IDs for various reasons. By 2016 the first wave of voter ID laws took in effect in hopes to slow down black turnout. Can’t say if it worked or not, but that was clearly the intent. Since then the the red states clearly targeted black voters by removing Sunday voting. Blacks enjoyed this for decades. They even called it “Souls To the Polls”.What voting suppression laws are you referring to? Voter ID which a majority of blacks support?
Time for blacks and Democrats to adjust. Get off your asses and be useful for a change. You guys don’t understand. Voter ID requirement in of itself is not the issue. When this topic comes up you guys seem to harp on voter ID. In my opinion, I don’t that is so much of an issue anymore. What is more of an issue as far as voter suppression laws, particularly after the 2020 election is that the red states removed drop boxes from urban areas. Added drop boxes to the rural areas. Continue to remove Sunday voting. Curtailed absentee voting. Curtailed early voting etc. All these are voting methods that blacks and democrats enjoyed for years.

There is no instances of fraud voting on Sundays. Why change it?Church bus don’t run on Saturday.
I never said that I never experienced racism. I said that I was blessed that nothing held me back from getting into Purdue and the good jobs I’ve had. I’ve come across racist “Karens” from time to time. Also, speaking of Purdue I remember a couple a racist crap happening. Someone wrote some racial slurs on the black fraternity house, Alpha Phi Alpha that was on Waldron St at the time. Also, a cross was burned on the front yard of the Black Cultural Center. So the 1%-2% of the blacks that went to Purdue at the time aren’t allowed to comment on that? According to your logic.this coming from a 50 year old black man who admits he’s never experienced racism.
Why not? Maybe the poll workers don't want to have to work on a Sunday and would rather go to church instead? There is no instances of fraud voting on Sundays. Why change it?
Wrong. You said you've never experienced racism. Don't back peddle.I never said that I never experienced racism. It's a really bad look claiming blacks can't figure out how to comply with ID laws. Whatever those 'various' reasons might be.You guys don’t understand. Voter ID requirement in of itself is not the issue. It is the timing of when the voter ID laws started to come into play. Again, another ridiculous response from you when you don't have a real answer. Poll workers don't get to make voting laws. The bottom line is there is no fraud or problems voting on Sundays. Removing voting on Sundays is clearly an attempt to curtail blacks from voting on Sundays. You keep responding to this issue by saying "don't church busses run on Saturdays?". When they removed Sunday voting, they did not change it to Saturdays. In GA, when they enacted their own voter suppression laws after the 2020 election, they tried to remove Sunday voting. However, they got so much pushback about it that they did not put it in the final bill. Why not? Maybe the poll workers don't want to have to work on a Sunday and would rather go to church instead?
