Sindelar is better than Blough in # 1 & 2. He throws a WAY better ball. He needs a lot of work on #3, which will only improve with experience. Huge fan of Sindelar.
Amen...was watching the Penn State MSU game yesterday and was envious of the catches both teams WR were making in terrible weather!
Do any of you older fans remember Mark Herrman? Does Sindelar remind us a little of him in arm strength, gait, height etc?
was at Purdue then, Herrman threw a softer pass and had a longer wind up. I remember after playing UCLA, their AA safety Ken Easely said he had a "wet arm". Mark was a really good college QB.Do any of you older fans remember Mark Herrman? Does Sindelar remind us a little of him in arm strength, gait, height etc?
Still say he's reminiscent of Mike Phipps.Do any of you older fans remember Mark Herrman? Does Sindelar remind us a little of him in arm strength, gait, height etc?
Herm was outstanding in his day,but it seems to me that college athletes in general are much bigger, faster and stronger now.Sindelar does run somewhat like Herrmann did,and they are about the same height, but Elijah outweighs him by about 20 to 30 pounds. When his time was over at Purdue,Mark had passed for more TDS than any college Qb ever.Do any of you older fans remember Mark Herrman?
