Three things for Sindelar during practice this week.

Two surprises to me yesterday:
1) Jarrett Burgess was inserted for WR work. Shows coaches are working to find combination.
2) The biggest surprise was both Brycen Hopkins and Cole Herdman were back in the gameplan. Appeared to have had quite games the last few weeks and both made impacts on stats yesterday.

Do any of you older fans remember Mark Herrman? Does Sindelar remind us a little of him in arm strength, gait, height etc?
was at Purdue then, Herrman threw a softer pass and had a longer wind up. I remember after playing UCLA, their AA safety Ken Easely said he had a "wet arm". Mark was a really good college QB.

Herm was outstanding in his day,but it seems to me that college athletes in general are much bigger, faster and stronger now.Sindelar does run somewhat like Herrmann did,and they are about the same height, but Elijah outweighs him by about 20 to 30 pounds. When his time was over at Purdue,Mark had passed for more TDS than any college Qb ever.
