Spoke recently with Henderson County HS (KY) Defensive Tackle Saadiq Clements and he informed me that he has an official visit with Purdue locked in for June 10-12.
He has two officials set up for June, the visit with Purdue and then one later in the month up to Michigan. After those two visits he plans to make a commitment. Kentucky was believed to be heavily involved, as I learned from the Kentucky site that last year at their camp he ran between a 4.7-4.8 40 and had the Kentucky staff buzzing. Something over the last couple months though has caused that relationship to go in another direction and the way it appears right now Clements is focused on choosing between Purdue and Michigan.
In regards to Purdue, Clements shared...."They keep in contact with me all the time. I really like the coaching staff and they feel like good people that can help me bring my game to the next level."
When it comes to making a decision he said the "deciding factor is what feels more like home to me."
