So if he ends up at say, Stanford? Gets an elite free education at a top 25 program?
Or Northwestern, great education on a team equal to or better currently than Purdue?
Or ND, great education at top 10 program?
Evidently, that is what he is looking at. Now if he ends up at Bowling Green, then yes you would be correct.

I say this as a fan and alum of Cincy, its football program isnt on the same level anymore. It was under Kelly, but getting screwed out of an FBS conference sets it back.
Cincinnati the last two years is 22-5 and won their last two bowls against Virginia Tech and Boston College, a team you guys were claiming were gonna be a tough test this year.

Still an easy step down in terms of both academics (a big step down) and also conference as well.
Lived in Cincinnati since 1985. The campus is not good, not safe. It is not Big 10.
Lived in gaslight Clifton for 3 years. Never had an issue.
it is much better now than it was when I was there almost 20 years ago. If they clean up the hill coming up from over the Rhine, it would be much better

They have built some nice facilities but it is not safe down there. 2 to 3 blocks from campus is a risk. Their football has been very good and Fickell is good coach. They have kicked our butts for quite some time now.
All those areas are not far from the campus. It is not like going to West Lafayette. Cincy fans are loyal and tough. Always in the shadow of OSU around here.
