This Team Is Gassed!

Forget the tournament. This team is done. Over. St. Timothy’s will bang them in the NCAA.

Embarrassing loss at home. Totally gassed. No confidence. Stick a fork in them.
Well Morton is for sure. Couldn't guard his shadow tonight. CMP sticking with Morton on JHS was just an awful decision. 6 points in by JHS it was clear to me that JHS was going to eat him alive. And he did. Woeful performance by Morton....but credit to JHS.

But that said....got to hit some freakin shots Purdue. That was hard to watch offense in 2nd half. That's where we lost it.

Morton guarding Schifino allowed him to get going and go off on Purdue...then no adjustment into 2nd half after a player goes off for 23 points in 1st half is inexcusable. Enroll Painter in Coaching 101...7am pronto in the morning. Quit being so damn rigid like Keady...and show some Coaching IQ!!!

Clearly our guys don't work hard enough to get open looks....Gillis and Loyer can't create open looks at all! Maybe it's Painters predictable offense that teams have figured out! Offense is stagnant.....and we havevno transition offense!

Morton is worthless but MP will still trot him out for 35 minutes a game just like he did with Sasha Shotandamiss. Out in the round of 32 for Painter. This clown will never reach the FF.

Indiana made adjustments in the paint and when the ball was kicked out no one could make a shot. This is starting to become a trend. I hope a couple guys start making some shots soon.

They need to practice where they play, too much shooting practice in the smaller practice facility, completely different sight lines than when in Mackey. I have been saying this for years now. All my shooting practice would be in Mackey.

is that true? didn't know that , doesn't makes sense to me

I understand that our "drop" coverage is what we do and it is designed to make the other teams take tough twos. But when an individual player is destroying that scheme to the extent that JHS was, you have to make an adjustment. Painter didn't. Kid was shooting 33% from the field in the B1G coming into this game. Our coach made him look like Jordan. I knew Matt could develop players, I was just hoping more of them would be on Purdue.

Sometimes you DO just have to tip your hat as they say when an opponent has the game of his life. But agree with you and others who have pointed out the head-scratching coverage there.

Nothing much to say about the god awful shooting but you'd like to think you can somewhat control some defensive schemes or have an influence

Not a great analogy by any means but reminds me of when VCU just carved us up, over and over and over again for layups, PNR, etc and seemingly no adjustment made

We knew this could happen to a young back court. I just hope they bounce back and get a win to clinch at least a share.

This is a year of house money. We don't play tough and we'll lose against better, more athletic guards. Maybe, I'm wrong but.still like.them to turn it around in the tourney
