Why in the heck is Purdue playing so soft? This is unreal. A lot like the last drive Marshal had. The half is NOT OVER!!!!!
Also, if I had to pick, I would almost sell out vs the run/qb keepers and let this qb beat you with his arm. Let the dbs play tight, and if this qb beats you with his arm, so be it. He has had a few errant passes and shown questionable pocket presence. Take away what they do best-which is run.
And VT just scored a td. DL really has to keep contain with this guy. And Purdue becomes a much better team if the dbs start showing at least an interest in tackling. That is the qb for crying out loud. No reason to go off to the side and throw a half hearted shoulder at him. That db sits the second half IMO.
