There better be something to this.

My guess - is that this is just another political tactic by Kemp to win the election. Remember, this is the same guy who has been purging voter rolls, closing polling locations, and overseeing the very election he is involved. Also, the same guy who oversaw the erasing of voting data in 2017 after a lawsuit was filed against the state. So pardon me for having zero confidence in anything he has to say on the matter. And the article said that the FBI has been "notified," they have not been asked to get involved...so they probably don't have to provide any evidence. Also, who cares if he lands in hot water...if he gets re-elected who is going to hold him accountable?

This looks like a page right of the Comey playbook - place doubt in a candidate right before the election to swing voters on the fence.

The conspiracy theories and delusions are now being acted upon, this and mobilizing the military are just the start. Good job Republicans, you didn't just let these lawless loonies in, you have embraced them.

Absolutely nothing to it, Kemp is just as unethical as it gets. He refused to step aside as Secretary of State meaning he was overseeing his own election, then he used his position to block registrations of those most likely to vote against him. He's released robocalls and emails saying the Abrams campaign is using illegals to steal the vote. Pure scum coming from his campaign throughout the election.

The AP via NBC News describes situation as follows:
An attorney for election-security advocates suing Kemp in his role as Georgia's chief elections officer notified the FBI and Kemp's office on Saturday that a private citizen alerted him to what could be a major flaw in the database used to check in voters at the polls. Independent computer scientists told The Associated Press that it enables anyone with access to an individual voter's personal information to alter that voter's record.
In response, Kemp asked the FBI on Sunday to investigate the Democratic Party for trying to hack the system.
Kemp's office did not detail any Democratic acts, offering no evidence for beginning a probe of his partisan opposition days before an election.

So, in effect, Kemp complained to the FBI that people advised him of shortcomings in the system he is in charge of maintaining.
