The Vikings should take solace they're in the NFC North...

Are any divisions in the NFL strong now?The NFC South had three decent teams but no other division impressed me this year.

I like to pretend that the AFC North is really tough and that’s the reason the Bengals struggle, not because they just plain suck.

and the packers will hopefully have a different defense next year, although that would require finding 10 new starters.

You gotta love how the packers hired their new GM from within, and all he did was hire former packers coaches that were previously fired by the packers. Nothing like bringing the old guys back for a re-union tour. next year will be back to the future. That took a lot of originality

Rodgers or not, I highly doubt they beat Philly this year. There defence wasn't good enough.

the already BEAT Philly this year when both teams were healthy!

Rogers was not the only injury green bay suffered this year.

Dude...you dont know what you're talking about. Philly didn't play Green Bay this year. The only teams to beat the Eagles were the Chiefs, Seahawks and Dallas. It'd be hard to top Philly in key starters being lost for the year either.

On august 10th Green Bay won ! First game of exhibition season! I realize the comeback will be exhibition games are meaningless. It's still a win

Sorry bud they didn't beat Philly. They put up more points on a bunch of guys wanting to be on Eagles. That does not equal them beating Philly! You're wrong!

My guess (hope) is they brought in Austin to be the heir apparent.
surprised the eagles OC Reich isn't getting much mention for HC jobs. The usual retreads are the norm. The Giants going w/ Schuurmer is typical. If they would opt for Reich , it would take away from a division foe and make their O alot better. Or their QB coach Defilippo.

DeFilippo still has some Manziel stink on him.

I saw Reich mentioned somewhere, but there were hotter candidates out there. Vrabel surprised me.

what happened w/ Mullarkey? one day I read he was all but signed by Tenn. then something changed the next day. thanks

I bet before the game yesterday the Vikings with the great Harrison Smith thought their defense was good enough to win.
The Vikings lost because Philly was better on the line of scrimmage on both sides. You can’t cover for 5 to 7 seconds and win.
