The recent struggles by the guards...

Is it just me, or the guards are struggling ever since Davis got injured? Perhaps it is the added burden on defense due to his absence, but the 3 points percentage had dropped significantly in those games where RD sat out. It may just be coincidence but it is a peculiar one. In any rate, we appears we need him and his leadership back more than ever before the Vanderbilt and Butler games.

It's just you. Hill had a good all around game against NM. Well, the shooting was bad all around, but Hill had some big moments.

I agree. Guard play of PJ & Hill is good but our wing play has been awful. Vince with poor shooting and 6 TO's in last game was just the latest example of bad play by him, Mathias, and Stevens. Cline did not have a good game against NM after saving us at Pittsburg.

I've been pleasantly surprised by both Hill and PJ. PJ has seemingly really made some strides in the offseason and Hill, he has been a great grab and hope we reward his efforts with a Final Four or better.

Agree SG/wing play has been in a bit of a rut, with shots not falling and other breakdowns like Vince's turnovers last game. But the thing with this group is... They find a way to win as a team. The centers are playing like they are the best tag team in CBB, regardless of position. I believe they are. And our PG's are performing rock solid in their role, despite projections that they were going to be average or worse.

I was concerned about the team peaking too early, but clearly we have plenty of room to improve even though we are enjoying a lot of success. I think the wing thing will sort itself out.

AJ didn't save us at Pitt? Cline made some nice shots but saved the game?
