The not so New Democratic Platform.

The grift is strong with this one. She just spouts off wholly inaccurate statements as fact and unfortunately there are people who are actually dumber than her who believe it. What a mess.

If you're using Candace Owens to make a point, you're going to have a bad time. This is a perfect example of intellectual honesty leaving the Republican Party.

Read the Kevin Kruse thread on Candace's false comments.

Kevin Kruse is a fact-checking gunslinger. Probably the best follow on Twitter. Lots of folks on this message board would do well to follow him because they would be presented with facts vs anything Fox News trots out on the daily.

Did anyone listen to what she said regarding the fact that the Libs constantly pander the AA vote? ,etc? All you have to do is follow the rhetoric of virtually all of the 2020 candidates to verify it. It was a big factor that cost them the election in 16’ and it will again if they don’t change their approach this year.

AAs vote for Dems by about a 90 to 10 margin. Perhaps you should listen to their perspective instead of assuming they aren't smart enough to know what's best for them.

Maybe Bruce is on to something; after all, Diamond and Silk are big Trump supporters as well. Lmao.

Thanks for making her point. Did you listen to what she said or did you jump to your conclusion by who she is? What she said was that the Dems use fear tactics as a primary strategy to keep AA’s voting their way. It obviously works.

So, you confirm that you don't think most black people are smart enough to think for themselves. Got it.

So because AAs vote Democratic her explanation has to be the reason? Logic much?

You are taking the word of a partisan AA woman without considering all the other arguments. Wouldn't you complain if the Dems did that?
This is ridiculous.

Or maybe AA’s don’t want to support a party that is incredibly hostile to minorities? Did you ever think of that? AA’s can see how each party acts and makes a decision accordingly?

Don't assume that AA's will vote 90/10 for a D in 2020. It could easily be 80/20 or 75/25 (because of the economy and for some the social positions of the R party) and IF that happens Trump will win easily in 2020.

It could also easily be 95/5 as well. Yay i can make guesses too!

There is a reason otherwise conservative and wealthy black people still vote democrat in large numbers, and its because the Republican Party is dominated by crypto (and not so crypto) segregationists and ethic nationalists.

Civic nationalism had been in the down trend for a while, but the trump campaign winning effectively was the last nail in its coffin. White identity politics is the Republican Party platform for 2016 onward, and there is no room for anything else

Where were they for Hillary in Detroit and Milwaukee

Take the number of voters obama got in 08 in Wayne and Milwaukee counties. Subtract the number Hillary got in 08. She lost those states by less than that number.

The VRA was utterly gutted in between those years, if you'll recall.

And what's your broader point? In the context of the actual discussion that was happening in this thread, that is. That 89% of blacks did not vote for Clinton, despite the consensus of just about every exit poll everywhere? And because of that, we should listen to Candace Owens as being *more* representative of black Americans? Is that your logic?
