the Marshall fan that said they never run out of water

They may have ran out in the stands but not at the concessions. Were you that intoxicated or just to lazy to get out of the heat? I stayed in contact with two dead friends from Purdue who sat in the Purdue section the entire game and they purchased water at the concessions until the end of the game. Sorry if you sat somewhere where the stand vendor ran out.

Sorry - very sorry! That was " dear" friends and not "dead" friends although all of us nearly died in the heat. Typo sorry.

There was plenty of water, snow cones, and Gatorade available at the concessions through the 4th quarter. The times I saw vendors in the stands it looked like they were two steps from heat stroke. I don't blame the vendors for slowing it down in the stands. Unlike everyone else in the stands, they are employees and governed by safety and health rules.

Well, the DID run out of water at all the concessions in my part of the stadium (Purdue side, nearer the 40) before halftime and during halftime. But it got replenished (albiet, not cold) at some point in the 3rd quarter. But as herdfan1999 said, there was always plenty of iced lemonade and sno-cones and soft drinks/Gatorade. Those sno-cones saved me at halftime!

I never did run out of refreshments in my area...................the couch.
