Sports Illustrated had a very good (and very long) article on the lost art of post play in the NBA. This is why Edey will likely be at best a 2nd round choice and possibly not selected at all. I can see him dominating European basketball though.

Post players in the NBA these days need a jump shot. Gone are the days of Hakeem, Ewing, Mourning, Shaq. Tim Duncan had to rely on a jump shot late in his career. It's kinda sad that the game has developed in that way and one of the reasons I like the college game better.

But if it keeps Zach in WL another year....

Things do have a way of coming back around.
Kind of like ball screen offense over a half a century ago? Not sure if it has only been the games I've seen, but it appears that when teams zone press I'm seeing a lot more 2-2-1 than before where it was more 1-2-1-1 or 1-2-2. Maybe next year we see more 2-1-2 presses? ;)

He can go to China and make a bazillion dollars in their league.
