Dakota who hadn't shot well and missed a WIDE open corner shot towards the end did hit a bit 3 ball that I thought was enough to get over the hump...but Irvin took Vince to the woodshed

I think this is where Purdue's recruiting woes become apparent. Painter attracts nice kids who develop into solid players, but they do not have the gut check confidence/arrogance you need when all hell is breaking loose. Purdue's recent performance in tournament play is ugly.

It is the culture of the program. I thought we had it figured out after Maryland and Northwestern but no. You can hear the team tighten up as they tenatively pass around the arc and throw off an off balance shot.

Guess you missed last years BTT. Played really well in it and it had no positive effect at all on our seeding.
