Haarms and Cline. Far from Purdue's 2 best players but with a razor thin bench they are extremely important IMO. When these 2 play well Purdue is on a whole other level. Happy to see both playing well and contributing. Merry Christmas Boilers!
Last night when Cline took that three on the fast break I knew it was going in before he left the ground. He needs a little space, but if he gets it he can light it up. If they are not, its time to start running some set for him and will probably only build his confidence.Haarms and Cline. Agree. The OP usual posts seem a bit...off base at times. Purdue actually has a deep bench this season, imo. Not many teams can go to 8 and even 9 deep with little to no fall off like Purdue can.?? I think Purdue can win when those two are 0 for the game. Not sure I could say that about any two of the starters.
Didn't we just do that??? I think Purdue can win when those two are 0 for the game. Not sure I could say that about any two of the starters.
Funny. Not quite comedy gold, but funny nonetheless.Agree. The OP usual posts seem a bit...off base at times. Purdue actually has a deep bench this season, imo. Not many teams can go to 8 and even 9 deep with little to no fall off like Purdue can.
What about my comment is off base? Purdue’s starting line up is frequently all in double figures and beyond but playing good defense and providing a combined 10 points, not much is truly needed from the bench on most nights to win, all things considered. Is Purdue incredibly hard to best of Cline or Haarms gets in double figures? Yes, but Purdue doesn’t have a razor thin bench as you stated. That would be the case if Purdue only played 6 guys...Purdue is usually 8 deep and some times gets to their 9th man on the bench. Anyone clamoring the need for a longer bench doesn’t truly understand the concepts of substitutions and usable minutes available for players. Analytically speaking, it isn’t good to play 10 guys...and typically it isn’t good to play only 6....and that doesn’t speak to anything Purdue currently does.Funny. Not quite comedy gold, but funny nonetheless.
Sounds like you are in agreement with Johnny Doe when referring to your original post.Funny. Not quite comedy gold, but funny nonetheless.
I'm beginning to wonder if their coach isn't Clappy 2.0, without all the sideline antics.Iu has a razor thin starting lineup and coach
