I'll admit I never liked that guy and his row boat! I'll also admit Brohm was not my first choice. And for those that read my posts, I pointed out 4 things I'd be looking at to see if Brohm actively pursued/ accomplished those objectives/standards. Those objectives involved recruiting, spring practice, summer camp, and actual performance on the field!

I'll admit I was very skeptical! I'll also admit Brohm exceeded my expectations in each of those areas! A new year is in front of us. I have confidence Brohm has Purdue pointed in the right direction! I'm not ready to predict a BIG 10 championship, but I will applaud the efforts of Brohm, his coaching staff and his players.

Maybe not a Big Ten championship next year, but I don’t think we are that far off in the next couple of years. The pieces are coming together.

Your posts contain a form of the word “I” at an unusually large rate.

In the middle of the word WIN is one letter !!!!

I almost never post on this but avid reader, but I had to break my silence.

Wol- I really struggle to find value in your posts. They are extremely uninformed and often times way off topic. And I I struggle to recall a time where any of your ‘predictions’ have come true.

I love the passion, but wish it was wrapped in some intelligent value adding posts for this forum.

Thanks for continuing to read and comment on my posts! I guess you missed my post at the beginning of the season when against everybody else's opinions, I predicted Purdue would go 6-6 and play in a bowl game! I guess you missed my post when somebody said we were 6 over our scholarship limit andmy comment was if Brohm expects to add all these players, somebody currently on the team will have to leave! I guess you missed my post saying Craft is not coming here! I guess you missed my speculations about Moore! As for basketball, I said at the beginning of the season Purdue would be a top 15 team nationally, top 3 in the big 10 and sweet 16 and anything better will depend on matchups! I realize most people don't understand my posts! I hate to repost them just as much as you hate reading them!

Last year I was vocally skeptical about the Brohm hiring and I said I would remain skeptical and watch 4 different areas and comment later! And I originated this thread to comment later! My post was very positive, yet some posters still decided to use it to berate me and my posts! If you hate my posts so much, why do you bother to read them? Then again it's become very obvious many of you don't read them!

Wolegib, I enjoy your posts and Purdue sports passion. I used my degree to become an editor, but did not forsake math.

Your above post contains 13 sentences, 12 ending in exclamation points, one with a question mark. I've been schooled to think punctuation like that shows lack of confidence in the value of your assertions, hence you must add artificial emphasis at the end of them.

Please consider use of simple periods. Subtlety can be your friend.

it's a matter of what communications posting device I use.

When using an iPhone, or tablet it's easier to type the ! than the . When I use my Dell desktop computer, I include fewer ! however, it tends to double space between the words. I use the Windows browser EDGE which is not totally compatible with many websites including this one..

Idk. This post is from my iPhone . Typically I don't grammar check when using my cell phone. It autocorrects. And people have complained for almost two years about my double spacing between words and that's only when using my desktop. It has a wireless keyboard which could be the problem. I don't double space when using the cell phone. I'm a yahoo and Microsoft loyalist . They paid my salary for a few years !

Then you should know how to use the setting feature of both devices to get the proper text together for these posts. I know it may be a struggle, but you can do it. I have faith.

On the desktop, it usually automatically justifies all of my posts adding a lot of needless spaces.

trying one more time using center alignment. I guess it would be more obvious if I added more sentences.

Holy cow - the guy started a post to admit he was wrong. I (yes, I said "I" because I am stating this as MY opinion and not fact) thought that was big of him. If he's not trying to be an asshat, why treat him like one? For the record, I've (there it is again) appreciated many of his thoughts - as is the case with many posters I disagree with.

You know what can sometimes be really engaging at a party? Hearing someone's well-thought out opinions that you disagree with. As long as there's mutual respect, everyone comes out ahead. You know what can ruin a party? If those same opinions were presented not as the individual's thoughts, but as fact. And if someone makes a spectacle out of shaming that person for something trivial like grammar, the other guests might just leave too.

Seeing this stuff makes me so glad we didn't hire him. Minnesota has completely lost control of their marketing and it's turned into a Fleck billboard. Regardless of what he might say, this kind of stuff puts him above the program as it's his stuff, not the programs.

Wonder if he gets a cut of the money if that stuff is put on an officially licensed Minnesota piece of apparel or merchandise? If so, it is sort of genius...he would be rolling in additional money that most college coaches would have never of thought of.

Totally agree that his shtick is really annoying.

Coaches like to dabble. I remember when Purdue's own J.T. let Arnette pick the uni's in one of the latter years and as fans, we were not too happy.
