I love this movie. Probably watched it 4-5 times now and learn a little more each time.
It's got some really complex concepts when it comes to the mortgage and bond market, and they try to explain it in simple terms with easy examples but it's still very cloudy.

The book explains the complicated financial instruments a little better IMO.

Just read the Andrew Ross Sorkin book on the mortgage crisis and it’s really good as well.
