"Haastile Crews"

That goes well with Haas and Haarms rim protection, as well as constant three point threats by the crews.

Yey!

What would you call this year's Boilers??

It has got to be 'The Four Score' and I'm going to tell you exactly why:

Lincoln's address at Gettysberg started off by saying Four Score and Seven Years ago....that totals to 87 years. This year is 2018...if you subtract 87 years, you will get 1931. That is the year Purdue has won it's only National Title on the back of John Wooden.

THIS GROUP HAS GOT TO BE KNOWN AS THE FOUR SCORE!!!!

Could also rationalize it as being in 1980 (Four score is 80) that Purdue last played in a FF. LOVE IT!

I have two names to consider . The first is Champions! That way after our last game, we can all sing we are the Champions!

The second honors our 4 seniors - the Final 4 ! Think of the tshirt possibilities their 4 faces and the words Final Four !

Underranked 4 no more. This team is just a true pleasure to watch. Treasure every game and don’t fall off the cliff if they stumble in the end. They are exceeding all expectations and playing beautiful efficient basketball which is a blast to watch

I'm not sure when all these other teams earned their names. I remember Purdue's version of the Soul Patrol of White, Walls, Jordan and Parker!

Btw @Wolegib I think I told you Purdue increasing their rank was a mathematic certainty lol
And my reply was just win baby and not worry about the ratings. And things will take care of themselves.

Just curious , I totally forgot what the Purdue Women's team rating was when they won their championship. It's been a few years ago and all I remember is the final ranking: champion. And for the record, I don't really care.

Yeah me either lol btw that was a much bigger jump than my calculations had figured. I was thinking 8-9

"Kid Carsen and The Four Senores"

For just the starting 5, I'm partial to the 80's movie inspired nickname: Four Men and a Boogie

They lost only one game, on the road at Stanford. They were #1 going into the final four.

Based on past experience I'm not sure I like being ranked this high. I would prefer being underrated over achievers sort of like the movie Hoosiers

Nah, I’d rather be ranked high as often as possible. That means we are having success and doing the things needed for a high seed in the tourney which gives the best chances for even more success when it counts most.
