Had a big gathering to watch our Boilers..dressed all 4 kids and wife..face paint..beads....20 of us ALL rooting for Boilers.
Knew it was going to be a war....but we absolutely choked that game away...several ways.
We implode literally in 4 seconds, that was incredible. Cannot hit a FT...just incredible. Cannot make a 3-point shot...
Cincinnati gave us so many opportunities to close them out. I cannot believe we blew that opportunity. A win there validates the re-birth of the program in so many ways..t
The season was nice and exciting as we were in every game....
But we needed to win this...we had it...up 7 under 1:00
We choked. This was a choke plain and simple. And everybody played a role...
Good not great season. But we need more talent. We need to be able to handle pressure better..we need to be able to hit jump shots....WTF is up with free throw shooting...
This team has a lot of holes and needs so much work....and last nights game underscores that bigtime.
Matt got it back to competitive...and that is a good step..but far from great...and far from where we should be.
