Thanksgiving Week

Will be an interesting game between Harvard and Indinia tomorrow. IU only a 6.5 pt favorite….Harvard beat a good Colgate team (who was up 20 on Syracuse before losing), which are supposed to be good team this year. Harvard hits the 3 at a high clip, can score and rebound.

Saw that a little over 50% of tickets were sold for the game too…which is weird, but maybe that’s changed since I last saw.

I heard that only 22 IU fans are showing up.

Hahaha. I saw that and really didn’t understand how he could compare traveling to NYC to Maui/Honolulu. Such a weird thing to try and pound your chest to.

Also, according to ESPN it was only at 47% capacity today (under 8.5k) …Indianapolis is a hard destination to get to..I guess? 🤷‍♂️

And shame on me for not mentioning that the women's volleyball team met their hard-earned goal of getting a good NCAA tourney seed so that they could host the 1st round match. A very young team ready to make some noise.

He has a weird infatuation with crowds and always makes comments about how great the IU fan base is.

Yeah they just didn't travel to Indy this past Sunday...

and to go off about Hawaii vs MSG is hilarious. Travel Packages pre Maui Fires were $6-$7k and tix were sold out (for a 2k capacity gym) within 4 hours because I checked for the hell of it. Then in September, two months before the tournament is supposed to start, it is moved to a different island in a 10k gym. Not sure how many families can just drop their already planned out Thanksgiving plans, pay $700 on avg per person to fly to Hawaii, then pay another $500-$700 a night per hotel room for a week, plus pay for food on top of that.

The attendance for the classic on the first day was 17k ...which included ALL tickets sold because you'd get two games for each ticket. He also could not prove IU had the "best showing" ...lolol. But anyways again, such a weird infatuation about IU fans showing up...
