Just got off the phone with him for our Entrance Interview series.

He said after some nerves over whether he'd get his academics in order in time to enroll in June, he's all set now.

"I just had to get my Bs up to As and I had two Cs, I had to get them up to a least a B, B-plus or an A, so that’s what I did first. So my ACT score wouldn’t have to be so high," he said. "I did that, and I got the results back (Thursday) and it was a blessing to get them back. So I’m officially a Boilermaker now.

"The time was ticking. Every day, I was worried, like, 'Next week is the 11th. I have to leave (for Purdue). I need to get these scores backs.' I didn't get them back until (Thursday). So it was just a relief."

Landers said he plans to take two classes over the summer. That's typical for most football players over that semester, academic advisor for football Seth Schwartz said recently.
