Tennessee Opt-outs?

The smartass answer would be Peyton Manning. But I haven't seen or heard of anyone.

If I were TN, I'd feel pretty good about not having to face Purdue's two most important players. Wonder how much that moves the line in Vegas?

2 points. It went from 2.5 point underdogs to 4.5 after Bell and Karlaftis announced.

Hehe, it's a funny joke, but it's kind of hypocritical, given that we're a public university from the erudite state of Indiana which is one of the worst states for crystal meth addictions. (I love Purdue, but, yes, I like Tennessee.)

What? This is the first I heard of this. Not discounting what you said, but that would suck.
Tried to find it but Brian sort of indicated he may not make grades. Brohm also said 2 more players may not play in the bowl game after finals.

How does this work? If they don't "make grades" are they out for 1 full semester? In effect would not be available for competition until fall 2022 at the earliest?

I guess so unless they already were on probation and flunk out....

Appalachian dental health is not great...but relatively speaking...Tennessee isn't terrible. TN is the 4th highest ranked SEC state behind Georgia, Missouri and South Carolina...so it's kind of like being the skinniest girl at fat camp or being the tallest midget. It isn't great...but it could be worse. As a side-note...Mississippi is the lowest ranked state in the US for dental health (just below West Virginia).

Really disappointing if true. Wright has a golden opportunity to be thee guy in an offense that throws. You would think a guy with his work ethic would not let grades slip to the point of not being able to play.
