Ditto. Everyone else is very cautious bringing it up against pressure.I like the tempo with CE in there with him on the bench it seems Purdue is in low gear.. but when he comes in it's a shift to high gear and full throttle
Yes. He gives Purdue another dimension which is a nice compliment to what Purdue does well already.Carsen does force the issue. If the defense doesn't pick him up he will keep going to the hoop. As long as he stays under control that is a good change of pace for us. He's still learning though and I think we have to give him a little extra rope during the season so he can accelerate his learning curve as much as possible before March.

Carsen has been fantastic, but it's not just him. The ball doesn't "stick" in anyone's hands, especially over the last couple of games. The game always looks better when a team is making shots, but this team's ball movement and unselfishness are a joy to watch.
For NBA fans, sorry TC, this team plays like a collegiate version of the SA Spurs. Popovich would be proud.

True, but I must say what a nice drive with reverse dribble into a left handed layup Dakota gave early in the game. Dakota'state in between game has been on fire as wellNor as much creative ability to make them pay on the back-end if the pressure doesn't cause a turnover......"That's the real hidden value, GG."

glad bilas could fit some bball analysis in last night, in between that riveting green acres /sitcoms critiqueyes....Bilas commented on the unselfishness several times last night, emphasizing Dakota Mathias IIRC. Also, he made the point in mentioning he thought Purdue was talented, but without the so-called "one-and-done" type players, and the unselfishness was important (and a distinguishing characteristic) for them to be able to overcome the more talented teams down the line....pretty much agree....can the Boilers maintain that discipline? do that.....continue to get the good shots.....shoot well.....and limit the TO's? a tall task, but if so.....Boilers can make some noise in conference.....and beyond.
Nice shout-out to our favorite NBA poster, TC.

Maybe he is destined to be a baseball announcer?
Therefore they probably SHOULD be cautious!AND they don't have his speed to just blow by
