Pretty excited to see what Matt can do.
Very large human beings standing among large human beings. For those who think Haarms is too skinny, please let me know when and where you plan to challenge him to a one-on-one.
We'll find out during the course of this season. That's why they play the games.Which B1G teams would be able to defend H&H on high/low post?
Of those how may could cover a do everything forward, a 6'6" slashing PG, and CE confidence, scoring, and attitude?
Taylor looks like a small forward compared to Haas and Haarms.Haarms looks massive, which makes me wonder how his post game is developing. I’ve been picturing him as a stretch 5 who opens up the lane for players like Vince, Carsen, and Eastern to drive to the hoop, but with that body, I would like to think that Haarms would also be developing a strong inside game.
I am intrigued to see him play, while remembering that he still is a freshman and it might take some time.

Rebounding is a lot more than size. It takes quickness, anticipation, guessing where a ball might come off, etc. Sure, it doesn't hurt to be tall but I'd rather have a 6'9 guy who is quick off his feet rather than a 7 foot stiff who can only get the balls that come right to him. They say Purdue's weakness is rebounding. Do you think there is a team in the country that can out rebound these 5? Can you imagine H&H controlling the d boards and the other 3 outletting for fast break opportunities. This is a BIG lineup that will run the other teams to death. We also have another PF or two who can come in for a break and we have 3 guards that can spot up and shoot the 3 on the break. Best of all is that if the break isn't there, we go to the half court offense and the high/low post that no one can stop. I'm excited!

will painter play them together.
i can't imagine painter putting them on the court at the same time for extended minutes.
time will tell.
It's proof that Purdue athletics is not run by a shoe company.Almost everyone in the front row has different style of basketball shoes. Wonder how this works? Appears players get a wide choice of styles to choose from.
a blast from the past.......
TWIN TOWERS!!!
H & H Block!!!
we're back in business, fellas......
When Taylor returns...We can score points and with the Twin Towers, we have the quickness and the muscle to play fast or play strong depending on the opponent. Last year, we made a mistake IMO trying to match up by going small instead of putting the onus on the opp to match up with us.
The added bonus this year is that we also have big men depth.
