what I posted elsewhere

He appears to be around 6' I'm guessing and jumps better than most college players right now as a soph. Course, the video told us that. He is not overly quick, but has enough quickness that in two years he will improve that and still fly. In high school he can score so easy, because he can just elevate over almost any player and certainly those chosen to defend him. Purdue I'm sure will will follow him and make a decision in the next year or so.

He is an athlete...a great athlete. His perimeter shooting was okay, but he has plenty of time to fine tune it. He is VERY heavily dominant with his right hand. I only saw him dribble a couple of dribbles with his left had and one was a single bounce after he took it through his legs with his left hand as he went up for a 3 ball that he made. He never complained about his bad calls and seemed to have a level head. He played within the team and was not ball dominant or needing the ball every few seconds. He seems mature mentally. So, I would say Tayson...work your left hand every day as THAT is your Achilles Heel it appears. Second, continue to work your perimeter shooting and defensive intensity. The kid has a lot of athleticism and seems to be level headed...develop those skill areas and he will take a huge step.

Outjumping players in high school won't always translate into college, but this Soph has to be in the upper few percent of athletes vertically and just needs to devote more time to skill... I'd like to catch him another game...maybe Tipton since I know they have a very good coach, but not sure what kind of team they have...
