I'm not sure I like the "compromise" portion of this recruitment. I realize that there are always a lot of things that go into a players recruitment such as family, location, school, etc. What concerns me is CS and "family" couldn't reach a solid decision so a "compromise" selection was made. Why would anyone decide to compromise on a decision that could possibly reflect on the rest of his life? I understand Cal, I understand Purdue and MSU. But as a "business decision" as always being tossed around, it sounds like Caleb was being left out of the equation. Why would a kid and family allow a decision to be made that was clearly not the correct decision as supposedly it was a "business decision"? Something is not right. This kid does not want to be here or all would never have occurred from the get go.
