Elated that Ethan Morton had a breakout performance against Texas. It certainly helped that he actually played more than 12 minutes or so. Guy is a real player and needs more PT Should have had a lot more prior in the season...

Furst was Indiana's Mr. Basketball, for a reason. He too, can play and should play more . It doesn't have to be in for Gillis or not on the floor at all. Gillis is a rebounding beast, plays hard all the time and is opportune on offense.

Newman has had spells of showing what he can do with some confidence and exercising discipline of his own. At least give Newman a couple solid stretches. The defense respects his shot and he can create his own. If he's off or turning it over then pull him.

IT should not see the floor from here on out. Good kid, but doesn't belong on this stage. Ivey plays point when Hunter needs a breather. If Sasha ain't hitting, get him out immediately. Liability in so many facets.

Coach Painter emphasizes analytics. No need to go any further than the 5 postseason games played already this year. The truth is in the numbers. Hope he plays the right players and combos. Morton was a good decision against Texas. Let's not fall back on the ole Keady ball philosophy of ride the guys who got you here, aka upperclassmen. This team can easily see the final 4 and more when gamers and players are on the floor.
