a year ago it seemed as if he was very 1 dimensional and if his shot wasn't falling, he really didn't provide anything. I've been really impressed with his defense, passing and overall attitude this year. He is becoming a very valuable player for this team.

He was always a valuable player. He is finally healthy and yes he is playing better. He showed how unselfish he was by not taking a wide open three because Dakota also had one and Kendall knew he was struggling to get out of a slump.
Plus the pass back, after the steal, to set up Vince I believe (whom ended up getting fouled). Most kids would try for a crazy layup.

Thought his defense was great tonight, very active hands.

And he still has the one of the best looking shots I've ever seen. Always looks so smooth.

I've always been a Stephens fan, but there were many times last year that he appeared to be pouting when his shot didn't fall. Haven't seen that at all this year, in fact, he's become more of a distributor when he realizes it's not his night. He will have plenty of great shooting nights and will probably graduate as Purdues best 3 pt, shooter.

His defense was very impressive tonight. That's what separates him from Cline at this stage of their respective careers.

People think AJ pouted too. People should stop thinking they know the proper way to display emotions in a situation most if not all have ever experienced.

Not sure about that with AJ, I always thought it was more of a perception that he didn't like playing or really didn't care. Anyhow, I think this entire team is now on the same page, which is why I think this may end up being Purdue's best team ever.

I attended the game this evening, and I thought that Kendall really allowed the game to come to him this evening. He was nicely set for all of these shots, and he was very active in other aspects of the game. He was very unselfish.

Poor Mathias cannot buy a shot. He must not have any confidence to be shooting this poorly.

There was a tweet last night that showed a picture of Mathias (and Jacquil Taylor) shooting jumpers in the practice gym after the game. I love it.

KS seems like the type of player who needs a little time to get into the flow of the game, develop a little rhythm. Instead of coming off the bench and jacking the first remotely open 3 he sees, play a little D, get a little sweat goin, then start finding some spots to shoot.

Who was the opposing coach last year that said "he's an NBA player" after KS had a good game?
