other than VE, he was my player of the game. He was the only one that was getting in the lane, causing the D to collapse and kicking it to the open man weak side. Happened 3 or 4 times in the second half and allowed us to separate. Really like the experience he brings. PJ hit some nice shots, but he better start converting at the line.

He is just so active, and he plays to win. I love watching him bring the ball up the court. Old school - change of pace, cross over dribble, etc. All the stuff we were taught as kids that still work. You do not have to be the quickest one out there - just develop and then use the fundamental stuff. It still works.

Agreed, his ball handling (not quickness) pressures his defender to a disadvantage. But only when Spike needs him at a disadvantage. Classic point guard vision & presence.

I just like his body language and demeanor late in games.

Ya, he makes mistakes and goes through periodic shooting slumps, but that kid has no fear when attacking the basket.

I'm glad he was in the game at the end. I feel like he's a much bigger problem for the defense than Cline.
