We joked about this elsewhere, but coverage by the national networks has been pathetic.

Purdue games on …
CBS -- (1) Michigan State (Jan. 29).
ABC -- (1) vs. Duke.
FOX -- (1) at Michigan State (Jan. 16).
ESPN -- (1) vs. Gonzaga.
ESPN2 -- (3) vs. West Virginia, at Florida State, at Minnesota (Jan. 19),
ESPNU -- (1) New Orleans.
FS1 -- (4) Marquette, at Ohio State, Maryland, at Michigan.
FS2 -- (0).
BTN -- (9) Milwaukee, Austin Peay, Minnesota (Dec. 4), at Nebraska, vs. Davidson, at Florida A&M, Rutgers, at Penn State, Nebraska,
N/A -- (2) The Truman Show, Hofstra.

It’s no coincidence that once CBS finally visited West Lafayette, the next day’s voting was unanimous for No. 1 for the first time all season.

We need more Communications grads in the business and a lot more squeaky wheel alumni.

Check the difference a channel can make.

Hofstra had a lower profile than Hoffa.

Does CBS lock in its schedule before the season ? That’s the only explanation I can think of, since we were unranked.

I believe CBS is showing the upcoming Sunday battle between Ohio State and Michigan, so, they must.

If I understood correctly what I heard on The Matt Painter Show, the Purdue Michigan State game Sunday was the most viewed non NFL sports event that day.
Also the highest watched NCAA basketball game this year!
