Purdue should play well against WI. At this point, the dominance that WI has over Purdue needs to end. With yesterday's game sourness, Purdue needs a clean week of practice and refocus as WI has had an unusual seesaw season. If WI trend continues, they will play well against Purdue coming off a road loss as they seem to win every other game.
I do not think any of us know the mystery of yesterday's debacle. It was truly an unusual event, yet as another poster put it, Purdue lays eggs against wounded teams (Rutgers 2017, MSU & MN in 2018). Finding consistency vs complacency is another step that Purdue will hopefully find soon and carry it forward into 2019. What blows my mind is how we man handled Ohio State this year and tanked it so poorly against MN where at the get go of the season I had both those games predicted in reverse.
The Bucket game might have the same implications as last year. Winner goes bowling, loser stays home.
I hope Purdue takes care of business this weekend!
