Iowa State isn't exactly known for their academics.

Uh. ISU is a fantastic engineering and ag school. Does that sound familiar?
If you mean just the team, OK, I don't know about that.
I suspect that there is a huge gap between the athletes at ISU and the regular students at ISU. Kind of an Ohio State/UNC type gap in education. I respect the school, but I suspect the "student-athletes".
Ya...That's why I left the team academics aspect open ended, because I have no idea.
