So the US Military is Trying to Exaggerate Gains Against Daesh?

"If there is truth that somebody has been meddling with their analysis"

The operative word being "if." Is this really happening because someone wants to shade intelligence a certain way either to please higher ups or simply because they disagree with the analysis? Certainly possible, it happens often enough throughout the years to be a valid possibility. Is this simply disgruntled analysts who would prefer a different, well, analysis? Also certainly possible.

If it were one or two analysts, you might be able to make the "disgruntled" argument. Apparently, there are 50 analysts at CentCom, that are upset, because their reports are being edited to reflect a much more positive spin on what's actually occurring in the ME. Speculation is that Clapper is involved. The biggest question, is whether Clapper is catering to WH requests to make the reports more optimistic, or whether Clapper decided on his own to do so. Someone should lose a job over this, but Obama doesn't fire anyone, i.e. Lois Lerner, Eric Holder, etc., no matter how much they deserve to be fired.
