So proud of Milton Wright

The second best coverage man for NW was horrendous (I think there were more than one) so obviously you go there. Can he take the primary coverage guys next year? I think yes. So now we need a second guy at least as good as Milty next year.

If Wright and Bell extend themselves like they did today against IU, it will not be a good day for IU. I see nothing in IU that would stop the deep ball.

Go deep. Do it often. Repeat.

With their secondary, we should even be able to send Horvath deep

This young man has worked so hard to improve his game, had doubters but embraced the challenge, and just had a great game in a very good season.

So inspired by his perseverance. He just ran some great routes today and just destroyed the NU DB… wow

It’s very impressive how this young man has persevered through adversity. So many people praising him now who were crushing him weeks ago. O’Connell as well. Brohm also. I really think some of our Boiler “fans” need to be a little more patient with their scathing observations in the future

Agree. Wright, Yaseen, Sheffield and Rice (please get healthy) as the top 4 with Miller and Durham back….(and of course AOC taking the 6th year) don’t see how the passing attack drops off that much.
I think Broc Thompson may be very good next year.It will be his second year in the program and he may be a lot better, like Isaac Zico was.

Credit to him for his perseverance, and, for developing into the weapon and counterpart that he has...the talent was always believed to be there, and, he hung in there...put it all together...and has reaped the benefits and been great.

I think Broc will be old reliable opposite Wright, and then if rice and yaseen are healthy even better.
Assuming he can come back healthy in 2022 Yaseen and Thompson will be the primary two on the outside opposite Wright. Need Sheffield to take another step in the slot to replace what Anthrop has done the last few games.
Really happy for Wright - he's a good kid and representative of Purdue.

I think if rice is healthy he’d be ahead of both. He was first off the bench when bell went down

Agree, I obviously forgot about Rice. Purdue may not have the highest level talent next season(assuming Bell goes pro) but the experienced depth will be very, very good. And who knows - one or more of these returnees may just take a big leap forward.

Rice and yaseen both four stars. Average RR amongst starting receivers should be 5.733.. that’s high

Wright could have another big day vs Indinia. If they try to play Bell like NU did and leave Wright 1 on 1 or no help over the top, AOC will go to Wright all day.
But, I suspect Brohm will want to let Bell have a big day at his likely, last game in RA.
