Here is what is the most amazing thing I took from the game last night, Haas and Mathias had an off night to say the least and we still won by a truckload.

The only team that beats us this year, is us. Win our next game and we should be #1 come monday.

According to who?

Wisconsin was 9-9 when we played them and Iowa is currently 10-9. Assuming Villanova and UVA win their games - why would beating those 2 teams push us to #1?

It's called a 15 game winning streak. Not too many teams have done that this year.

I get the argument, but unless Villanova and/or Virginia lose, Purdue will remain @ #3 in both major polls....maybe they'll pick up another first place vote? possibly. JMHO

Regardless, love how the team is playing/responding, but there's a loooooooooonnnnnnng way to go in this season. As some have posted in other threads, enjoy the ride....and relish the last phase of this senior class.......great student/athlete representatives of Purdue University.

And Carsen Edwards, Nojel Eastern, Matt Haarms, Ryan Cline & Company aren't going away....going to be an interesting/entertaining transition.

This is the most interesting thing to me. It seems CMP is recruiting for balance and while we will see a 'drop off' next season I am sure, the future is still exceptionally bright.

Anyone that doesn't see that needs to reevaluate themselves.
