Sindelar question ... 2 years or 3?

i know early in players careers the media seems to call them by their academic year and thus kept calling Sindelar a sophomore...

But eligibility wise he was a redshirt freshman this year right?

He had to use a redshirt his true freshman year for the knee surgery he had to have. He got injured in the playoffs of his senior year.

Really what? I was extremely happy not to watch at all during the last year of PWE's (Purdue's worst ever) horrific trainwreck. I really couldn't tell you much more about the 16 Boilers than I could about the 97 Boilers (my first year at Purdue was 98).

I didn't care and was happy not to so long as those with power were happy not to care enough to get PWE out of there. They cared enough after 16 and then I was all in...

Yeah... cause you know how I bailed on the other terrible teams we had.

The administration needed a message .. of course I still wanted the boilers to do as well as possible. We aren’t fans.. most of us.. we are graduates.

Message received.. new coach who isn’t a failure on all levels like PWE.. all is well I’d say
