... never to be confused with "Hurricane" Carter. I'll miss seeing him ambling alongside his linemen on legs no doubt made weary by his 12 years of anchoring the "Orange Crush" of the Denver Broncos. He was even featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated as "The Prototype NT in the 3-4 Defense." He's leaving us with nearly 30 years of coaching experience, including NFL jobs with the Broncos, Redskins and Jets and college stops at Howard, San Jose State, Maryland, New Mexico and Towson, plus three years as the head coach at Florida A&M. Here, he helped develop Gaston, Isaac, Watson and Replogle (about the only defender who showed for this year's finale). Best of luck, Coach C.
