The good: Lamina Cooper will return to action on Sunday, as Purdue hosts Penn State at noon. The sophomore wing has missed the last three games with illness.
"She's looked good, obviously fatigued," Sharon Versyp said Friday afternoon. "But she's looked good and hasn't really missed a beat in what we want, as far as understanding what we want on offense. On defense, it's just sustaining for a long period of time playing."
The bad: Ae'Rianna Harris, who has battled some sort of tissue issue in her right foot, was on a scooter Friday. She had been wearing a boot, but playing through the injury.
"She'll be OK," Versyp said. "We'll try to keep patching her up week by week."
