Why is it such a trademark of CMP that his teams always seem to fade in the second half,especially if the game is close? Have seen this consistently over the last several seasons, especially in the NCAA. Up nine at half, and you let a bunch of freshman beat you? Granted, Iowa will be very, very good in the next year or two, but c'mon.

It's not. There have been several threads on here previously about Purdue being too much of a second half team. Why do people only pick and choose what they want to see and then complain when they fail to see the whole picture?
Simply went away from what works and lost the game. Last 7-8 minutes the guards forgot to feed the bigs at a time when attrition from fouls on Iowa should have made them even more effective and kept jacking up 3s early in the clock.
