Whoever is the scout coach on this team, they have done an excellent job since the Auburn game. That’s five really good scorers we have shut down in the last two weeks.

Kudos to the team for being prepared and buying in. Best I’ve seen a Purdue team play defense in some time.

Yep, after what Purdue did to Rutgers' and NW's best players, I was wondering what we'd do to slow down Brice Williams. Turned out we only needed to have our 6'3 and 5'11 guards hound him when he was on the floor. I was really impressed with how well Braden guarded him given the size disadvantage.

It's typically Brandon Brantley who does the initial scout. Then the defensive coordinator (shared by Terry Johnson and Paul Lusk) come up with and implement the gameplan. PJ is the offensive coordinator.

Yeah, zz.....that belly up stand-off in the paint in the first half where Smitty forced him into a travel was great to see - you could also see the frustration on Williams' face most of the day. They just got completely buzz-sawed.

PJ handles the offense. Lusk and Johnson handle the defense. That doesn't mean that other coaches don't have input, but the majority of the D is Lusk and Johnson

It seems to me that we completely changed our offensive mindset after Auburn. Getting TKR out of the low post has worked wonders.
