To all who made the bet with me when I said Scheyer would make a final four before Painter, I relieve you of your obligation. I am more convinced now than ever that Duke will reach a final four before Purdue in the coming years, but in this climate of free agency it will not be CMPs fault.
There is just no way that we can compare apples to apples anymore against any of the blue bloods when we can’t outbid a school who packs their arena with 2500 people.
I am rooting for him even more to succeed as I know it will be purely on his merit and not with much help from “the Purdue way”.
