We will probably start with 6'7" Edwards, 6'8" Biggie, and 7'0" Hammons. Then, we could bring in 6'10" Taylor in for Biggie and 7'2" Haas in for Hammons. Davis and/or Mathias clean up their handles, and we are a pretty good team!!!

I wouldn't expect a lot of PT for Taylor on next year's team, unless something really bad happens. Davis and Mathias aren't playing PG. Edwards and Swanigan will be the 4's.

Give'em hell Jacquil! Show'em you belong baby!
I second that......he will...kid has big time pride and wants to be a Boilermaker!

He will get his minutes next year...but he just needs to let the game come to him...be ready and know that once AJH moves on he will get more minutes his Sophomore year...next year as a RS Freshman he just needs to be ready and play hard.

Taylor is my favorite on the team for sure...........

Boiler Up!

Just looked up wingspans:
Haas = 7'5" (standing reach 9'3")
Hammons = 7'4" (9'2")
Biggie = 7'3" (9'1")
Taylor = 7'2" (9'0")
Edwards = 7'0" (?)

I doubt Taylor plays much barring everything going right (injuries, playing well as a team, etc.).

It's no knock on him - he'll be a redshirt freshman. He'll definitely be playing the following year - as a sophomore.

I'm telling you right now, we almost have too many good players, even without Swanigan. It's a great problem to have, but you can't have this and then complain about transfers.

I'm not too worried about transfers. They're all set to be here next year. A few will get limited minutes next year, but the year after Ray and Hammons will open up a lot of minutes. The guys know what the future holds for them.

I agree. When Painter trims the rotation, there's going to be a good player on the bench. I don't see Taylor and Smotherman both getting regular minutes.
