may end our hopes for an NCAA invite. NU is 6-10, but if you look at it, their worst loss out of conference is DePaul with their other losses to Duke, Nd, and Oregon, all ranked teams or in the getting votes section. They are 0-6 in conference, but their losses are to Michigan, OSU, MSU, UIll, IU and Iowa. NU got so screwed on this schedule its terrifying because it may happen to us one day. They have Illinois, IU and OSU twice each, and only one game against UMinn, MSU, PSU, and Rutgers, teams they would have a much better chance of beating. NU is playing for pride and maybe nothing else at this point. They may have given up, we will see if they have any fight left in them. We still have a faint hope of an NCAA bid to play for, but the UMich game showed we are a team in turmoil and perhaps not even capable of putting our best effort out at this time until things are sorted out for this team chemistry wise.
