OT!Horrific shooting from the outside....4-27 right now from my count
It's August. We're already a month ahead of every other team in the country. Too early to be worried.Turnovers still a bugaboo.....man, I hope they get that straightened out this year....just a little improvement can make a big difference.

I hear you, SIB.....hard habit to break.
What impression will losing leave with the pundits? One specific college team vs. other countries' all-star teams seems quite the challenge, though the Boilers have lots of playing together experience on their side.it's August. it's preseason. it's meaningless. I hear that a lot - especially in the NBA and NFL. Nobody takes the preseason seriously anymore. But it's also preseason for the other team as well. perhaps if we took the preseason a little more seriously, we'd get off to a good start.
Think about this - the ratings are in large part determined by early games and early tournaments. and once you have one of those top 5 ratings, you can lose later in the year, and your ratings won't drop much. yo u could even say in most years, the top 8 seeds in the NCAA tourney are decided before conference tourney play.
Each tea m Purdue plays will be an all star team. Winning these games will go a long way to improving our ranking, and also a long way to impress our recruiting targets. I have to believe they were all watching.
Hey we're 2-0. Nobody else can say that tonight!! BOILER UP!!!I hear you, SIB.....hard habit to break.
All true Wole but don't forget...WE don't play. We can be lazy slackers and it won't hurt the team at all!it's August. it's preseason. it's meaningless. Honestly I think they look pretty good for this time of year.

So I can't be a lazy slacker? Damn.that is so untrue. We are the virtual reality internet viral digital OMG 6th man. I know those players can sense our presence ! they won that game for us because they felt our passion ! As Verizon would say, our team can't go anywhere without its network of fans backing them up!
Butler went 4-0 in Spain.TCU can. They are playing in Australia and have Bane who should have been a Boiler. Unless you mean specifically in WUG.
and again...it is Dakota with the pass
and again...it is Dakota with the pass...and vince with teh screen helped by bad D by Canada's national player of the year.
well, if you said that yes---I miss a few posts, but you wouldn't have found a huge disagreement from me on that. All last year it was Dakota that made the key pass most quickly in my mind was the slip by biggie against IU. Dakota is the best post passer and plays very smart. Under conditions in teh half court where he can play smart...teh ball should be in his hand. In a last second part of the game where coming off a screen is not possible and needing some distance, then Carsen would be a better choice. 4 seonds on teh clock and the length of the court...Carsen would be better than Dakota under many circumstances. A fear of passing the ball and needing to keep it...would yield Carsen, but if enough time is available to pass then Dakota is the best passer, smart player and can still get his shot off in many situations..and then Vince. He too could be the right person under the right situation to have the ball in his handsDoesn't that sort of prove my point from a few weeks ago that the ball should be in Mathias' hands at the end of the game???
