Saquon, he gone

it'll be interesting to see if his dad, who's a cook at Chili's in Whitehall, Pa., will keep working.
Did his dad say something about working no matter what? (I know nothing about the Barkleys) His son is about to make more money in one year than a lifetime of Chili’s cook wages. If his son wants to help out his ol’ man I’d not fault him one bit. Maybe Saquon can buy into a Chili’s franchise or three and let dad manage them ;)

I think Barkley is a special talent and would be hard to pass up. Helps the running and passing game, both as a receiver and blocker. That's huge in my opinion. Would be thrilled if he landed with the Colts.
he;s definitely not a one trick pony.

not a negative post, just sayin a little sub plot.

This can only benefit us. IIRC we appear on PSU's schedule next year. Of course, at PSU, like O$U, it is simply "next man up".
it's also next man up for them, they have Sanders and recruited 2 highly ranked Rb's this year.

Chubb is a really good DE, but I'm not sure he'd be considered a near once in lifetime talent like Barkley.

Of course be a Big Ten fan, I haven't seen Chubb play much and seen Barkley a lot.

Chubb isn’t a talent like Barkley. It’s saquon or Fitzpatrick for the colts. The browns will take whoever they don’t at 4

They need so much so I guess why not?

That’s a terrible roster Indy has. Can’t see them competing for at least 2 more seasons.
I don’t know. I blame coaching as much as anything. They should’ve won at least 4 more games than they did this year even without Luck. They could be looking at a Brohm like recovery if (1) Luck is 100% (2) they get a solid HC (3) they have another solid draft and (4) they plug some holes with FA (I’m thinking OL is #1 for FA). Of course that’s a bunch of contingencies. But they could be solid next year. But who knows on Luck. I’m skeptical.

Back end of their D, WR, pass rush and LB.

I had no idea he was from the Valley. I’ll be near Whitehall the next two nights staying by LVA, maybe I need to check it out!
the family is actually from NYC, they moved to the Lehigh Valley and his Mom hated it at first, said it was too much green and hills. He went to Whitehall H.S. ( Matt Millen, Dan Koppen)

hey Bulldog, instead of going to the chain places, you should check out a place called Grumpy's in the area, the guy puts out really good BarBQ in a southern road house setting.
