Refusal or inability to recruit an alpha male point guard who can get his own shot and lead the team in crunch time. Still convinced this is the single biggest reason we have not been NCAA successful.
Sadly, if Hammons stays, we have all the pieces in place except for that. Why Keady and Painter cannot or will not figure that out is beyond me.
One last question. Can someone please explain to me why Davis will not feed the post early in the shot clock? I'll bet if you watched the film of our BIG games, there were literally 100+ times our bigs had perfect position when Davis had the ball and he just sort of stared at them. I've been baffled by that all year. Thanks.
