The passing game is working so of course the play calling has to change to plunges into the line for little or no gain. I cannot understand how the head coach can continue having this go on, Get ready for another loss!

I'll take Capable Coaches for $500, Alex!So we look great against MSU when it does not really matter. And then when we compete against a team we should be able to play with, we go in the tank. We either lack competitive athletes or capable coaches.
Even the TV announcers cannot believe the coach didn't use the time outs available. One really has to question if this staff is really interested in winning football games!
If the run up the middle does not work, it's time to stop try it. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results, and Purdue play calling is nothing but insanity! That run up the middle is the foundational play of the zone read. I don't necessarily like it either but as long as we run this offense, they will run that play several times a game. And it did result in Jones' TD against MSU last week.

Well Markell Jones had 6 carries. We've had a million issues this game but I'm not convinced our running game is one of them.
If you tried to blow the game you couldn't call it any better than our coaching staff.
Averaging 2.4 yards per carry, and we still waste 28 plays trying to "establish the run".We've had a million issues this game but I'm not convinced our running game is one of them.
