Safety from Ohio seems to like Purdue

35 to 4lbs and he's right in the wheelhouse. if his quickness is there I think it could work DE have to have intangibles. If it is not in the cards may be an Earl Thomas type safety never know.

Ah, I wouldn't hold your breath on this one guys. He's from Westerville, and that is a Columbus suburb. It's in Ohio State's backyard. But maybe Dontay Hunter can reel him in. Guess we'll see.

Yes, Westerville is a Columbus suburb.

You noted class of 2019 signee Hunter, from the same suburb. But, we also signed OL from Dublin, another Columbus suburb. And, 4-star Mershawn Rice, from Reynoldsburg, OH, another Columbus suburb (I lived there, many years ago).

And, for class of 2018 we also signed WR Kory Taylor, from Hilliard, OH, another Columbus suburb (I also lived right next to Hilliard in my time in C-bus).

What's more, in recent classes we've signed numerous other kids from NE OH (Cleveland area), as well as SW OH (Cincy area). Both are also solid OSU towns.

Bottom line, Purdue football is VERY appealing to these OH kids. Close to home, great academic school, has BEATEN OSU regularly in recent years... so, why not?!

Tressell isn’t there anymore. They recruit national kids more so than locals
