Rutgers is looking at Connor Parks

he seemed to like purdue, but we had no room for him. We may still have interest in him after Jalen Jackson left.

You mean Eddy wilson? If he does get kicked off the team? Jalen jackson left last summer if I'm not mistaken

Jackson announced he's leaving today! He said on twitter it just didn't work out!

What's his twitter?

His twitter account is odd.

On 24/7 if you look on an athlete's profile it will have tweets by the player. Two days ago that profile was filled with over 20 tweets on his profile dating back to when he had an offer to WKU and then signed with purdue etc. two days ago he had two tweets - one that announced he was leaving purdue and thanks to all the fans and people etc. and he tweeted it just didn't work out, and those were his exact words.

Today the tweets are no longer displayed on his athlete profile on 24/7 and that twitter account it links to is no longer active.

I don't follow twitter accounts. I just follow recruiting sites. and if a recruiting site posts tweets by players on their site, I read the tweets posted. An example - on the same 24/7 site, on Tyler Hamilton's profile page, it includes a bunch of tweets by Tyler.

Maybe jalen changed his twitter account. the link at 24/7 said it was Is0_Zombie. and you click on the link and twitter says the page doesn't exist. but if you punch in those letters o n twitter search it goes back to all his previous tweets, except for the one that says he's leaving Purdue and that it didn't work out. My guess is that he deleted that tweet and it's causing an error message at 24/7. they were the first to announce he was leaving. and it was a front page story based on his twitter comments.

He never signed with Purdue.

I was referring to Jalen Jackson who signed last year, he enrolled early and was a redshirt for 2017. he switched between offense and defense. and he just left Purdue.

Connor Parks decommitted , but you could tell from his tweets as part of the Bucket game aftermath and words as part of his interviews that if there were room, much like Craft, he'd love to be part of Purdue 's team.

And by reading some of the tweets by the recruits that decommitted, it's kind of obvious since they still haven't committed or signed elsewhere, they're still interested, and may even walk on or sign later if space becomes available.

Brohm took back Parks' offer. According to a post yesterday, Purdue is still 4 over the 85 scholarship limit. if Purdue ever gets under that limit, Parks seems like a guy who's still not signed yet who appears like he's worth revisiting. He could fill the void left by Jackson and Hawthorn.

It would be highly unlikely Parks receives an offer. Lane may get the opportunity, however McDuffie would get offer over him if he qualifies.

The void created by Jackson and Hawthorne is needed to get to 85 (still more to come). Also, grad transfers are coming that have yet to become public.

Wouldn't be surprised if BLJ is the next to depart

well ok. I realize to add people, we need to subtract people. and currently, we're at least still 4 over our max of 85, so more players will leave.

but, unlike past years, it seems that there are a lot of quality players like Parks and Craft who'd love to come to Purdue if we found the room.

And I'll admit I know nothing about Parks or his ability. I just loved his tweet at the bucket game about Purdue getting it's train back on the A track and rolling again.
