I was not aware that the B1G had this much money withheld from conference members or that it was making loans of this size.

I live in northern NJ. The BERGEN RECORD newspaper has a multi-page expose detailing the absolute chaos in their Athletic Dept. financial situation. The Dept. has an outstanding debt of $265 million. It is beyond bizarre what has been going on there.

I guess this depends on what you want out of additions. If you wanted a good athletic department, they are indeed lacking. If you wanted more money for Purdue, then they brought it.
 
I’d just like to for Purdue to beat their ass once in a while—in ANY sport!

Didn’t the ADs office try to hide the debt as well?
