Ross Ade Renovation back on…

Funding approved for "stage one" per Tom's article on the main page.

Kinda weird that there is more details about the stupid tunnel than what they are actually planning to do with the South End zone.

Did anyone read this and think WTF is this? I'm no Civil Engineer, but believe it is an entrance / exit to stadiums. To name it like that at any college venue is asking for trouble IMHO.

"Phase two could call for building a mezzanine deck above the Ross-Ade Stadium vomitories to open up the concourse so the field is in view at all times. The plan also could call for squaring off the north end zone to move the stands closer to the field. The north end zone currently features a horseshoe shape."

So many great opportunities to enhance what is already a great game day environment. Have been to several Bog Ten venues that are barely half full tributes to concrete, and it’s clear the students and fans don’t care. Great that MB, MD and the BOT are so invested in their support of the program, and that the fan base is so engaged. So many of us in Nashville and such an exciting upward momentum with the program.

Which ones are like that

Like to see the place “closed up”. Don’t like seeing ESPN hi-lites from RA when you can see WL traffic in the background. Makes it look like a Ivy League football field.
